Call for Papers
Papers are hereby solicited in following topics (include but not limited to):

* Research on self-assembly of amphiphiles
* Key factors of sustainability of surfactant industry including new materials resources, process and engineering development, product and surfactant application technologies etc.
* Environment benign and human security concerning the surfactants
* High effective and functional surfactants
* Clean production in surfactant industry
* Development and marketing situation of surfactant
* Fat & oil deep processing
* Green cleaning and biological cleaning technology
* Green chemicals in detergent
* Survey of detergent consumers
* Modern detergent builders and additives
* Evaluation on personal care products safety and technologies renovation
* Development trends of household care products
* Packages and devices of surfactant and daily chemical products
All accepted papers in the conference are expected to be presented and will be included in the conference proceedings, which will be copyrighted and widely disseminated.

Submissions of papers or extended abstracts (in both Chinese and English): Dec 15, 2005 Notification of acceptance: February 28, 2006
Full length manuscripts: May 20, 2006
Instructions for the Submission
Papers or Extended Abstracts for the Conference
Papers must be original and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Submissions will be judged on correctness, originality, technical strength, significance, quality of presentation, and interest and relevance to the conference attendees. Submission should include, on the cover page, authors names, affiliations, addresses, fax and phone numbers, and email addresses. Please indicate clearly the corresponding author. Authors must clearly explain the contribution of the work in terms of its theoretical and/or practical value and relationship to previous work. Submissions must be full papers of about 5000 words, or extended abstracts of about 100-150 words, both in English and Chinese. Full papers should contain an abstract, a list of keywords, and a list of references; extended abstract should contain a list of keywords. Do not put page numbers on your document. We will add appropriate page numbers to accepted papers when the conference proceedings are assembled.

Submissions should be sent as an email attachment to SDCInfo@163.com, MS Word and PDF formats are strongly encouraged. The subject of the email must be “ICSD
Submissions should be formatted as follows:
- A4 Pages, single column

- Research plans should have a list of references at the end.
Inclusion in Conference Proceedings
ICSD 2006 Proceedings will be published on print and will be distributed at the symposium.
The conference proceedings will include:
- Full papers
- Panels positions
All papers submitted will be peer-reviewed by multiple reviewers. Accepted papers will appear in the conference proceedings published by the organizers, and will also be accessible to the general public via.
Outstanding Paper Award:
The committee will select the outstanding paper. The author of this paper will be awarded a free registration for the conference.
Language:
The official conference language for all papers and presentations should be both English and Chinese.

Conference registration fee includes one proceeding, access to all sessions, meals and social events (get-together party and dinner party).

Students are required to fax a proof of current full-time status (e.g. letter from Department Head or Advisor). Be prepared to present your student ID on registration day.
